Lori Bennett is an award-winning radio personality and actor proud to be working in Michiana as U-93’s 10a-2p weekday host. After being introduced to media arts by a friend at Central Michigan University, Lori spent her time haunting the hallways of college and local radio stations there before returning to her hometown of Detroit. While there, she performed at several high-profile radio stations in various roles, including Morning Show Host, Program Director, Marketing Director, and Music Director. Most recently, Lori worked in Grand Rapids MI where she fell in love with South Bend less than two hours away during a visit with a friend attending Notre Dame.

Lori also is a commercial voiceover and live actor, having been the key talent for several national stores such as Wawa and Kum and Go. She has endorsed campaigns for leading brands including Phillips Sonic Care, Ideal You and Sono Bello plus has hosted and performed in person for multiple Michigan television and stage projects.

When not in studio or at a live U-93 event, Lori enjoys consuming all genres of music, cooking gourmet meals for friends and volunteering at various non-profit organizations, especially those supporting cancer patients and their families. She is a staunch animal rescue supporter and is involved with multiple Midwest organizations. Lori also needs to be near the water constantly as an avid boating and swimming enthusiast; the St. Joseph River is her new visual go-to for a peaceful escape from reality.
