Join DES Dance as we present a family friendly holiday show full of magic and excitement! Dancers from DES Dance will perform excerpts from the Nutcracker, Rockette inspired tap and jazz routines, fun and festive hip-hop numbers and sweet preballet cuties all in one show! The James Whitcomb Riley High School Drama Club presents William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream." The world is on fire and chaos reigns over Athens as the Duke, Theseus and Hippolyta the Amazon, prepare to wed. Unbeknownst to all humans, Oberon, the king of the faeries, and his Queen, Titania, battle over possession of a changeling boy, setting the world ablaze. Passions ignite, love is in turmoil, and a doddering group of laborers are trying to stage a play. Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" will be performed Friday, December 6 (7:00 PM), Saturday, December 7 (7:00 PM), and Sunday, December 8 (2:00 PM). Tickets: $5/online or $7/at the door (SBCSC students/staff); $8/online or $10/at the door (general public). Seating is general admission.
